The scope of work also included the relocation of a historic masonry church. The first of its kind in Massachusetts, the casino resort represents a substantial investment in the city and acts as a catalyst for growth.<\/p>\n<p>The project encompasses a 125,000-SF casino; a 250-room, four-star hotel tower; 85,000 SF of Class A office space; 45,000 SF of meeting and convention space, with pre-function and back-of-house\/food preparation areas; a multiplex and bowling alley; 165,000 SF of retail and restaurant space, including seven eateries; and a structure containing parking for 3,400 vehicles, dock and physical plant space. The scope of work also included the relocation of a historic masonry church.
