This achievement positions Malaysia as the second ArchTam office globally to attain this standard, following ArchTam Singapore. Kow Kah Loong, Country Representative for Malaysia, and representatives from the British Standards Institute (BSI) led the certification ceremony.<br \/>\r\n    <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.archtam.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/BSI-6-1024x522.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-132250\" width=\"603\" height=\"308\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>As a key technical hub, the Kuala Lumpur Metro Hub&#8217;s certification underscores the team&#8217;s dedication to quality, collaboration, innovation, and digital transformation throughout project lifecycles. This accomplishment reflects their substantial progress on significant projects in the Asia region, such as the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya (SSP) Line and Bangkok Purple Line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The certification standard is under ISO 19650-2:&nbsp;Organization and digitization of information about buildings and civil engineering works, including building information modelling &#8211; Information management using building information modelling: Delivery phase of the assets. This ensures that the information management processes supporting BIM are standardized and optimized through a Common Data Environment, leading to more efficient and accurate project delivery outcomes amongst all stakeholders including design engineers, owners, architects, and contractors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><em>Building Information Modelling (BIM) involves managing information across the entire lifecycle of a built asset, using digital modelling. It&#8217;s a collaborative process that brings together design engineers, owners, architects, and contractors in a shared virtual environment, often referred to as a common data environment (CDE).
