{"id":24966,"date":"2018-04-18T13:47:26","date_gmt":"2018-04-18T13:47:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.archtam.com\/projects\/jw-marriott-austin\/"},"modified":"2025-06-06T14:56:00","modified_gmt":"2025-06-06T18:56:00","slug":"jw-marriott-austin","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/www.archtam.com\/projects\/jw-marriott-austin\/","title":{"rendered":"JW Marriott Austin"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"aecom-custom-block block-intro-text\" style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 40px\">\n    <p class=\"editor-emphasized\">\n        <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archtam.com\/aecom-hunt\/\">ArchTam Hunt<\/a> was selected as construction manager for the JW Marriott Austin \u2013 the largest JW Marriott in North America by guest rooms.    <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The project encompassed a 1,200,000-square-foot, 34-story hotel with a tower skin comprised of metal panels and curtainwall in addition to three levels of underground parking, five levels of public space, and 28 guest levels with a total of 1,012 guestrooms. The public space includes a junior and grand ballroom, exhibition space, two restaurants, and an outdoor pool and bar area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project scope included excavation adjacent to existing historic and occupied structures.
