{"id":33431,"date":"2021-06-28T14:35:12","date_gmt":"2021-06-28T14:35:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.archtam.com\/projects\/crownpoint-flood-study-and-hazard-mitigation-alternatives-project\/"},"modified":"2021-06-28T10:43:09","modified_gmt":"2021-06-28T14:43:09","slug":"crownpoint-flood-study-and-hazard-mitigation-alternatives-project","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/www.archtam.com\/projects\/crownpoint-flood-study-and-hazard-mitigation-alternatives-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Crownpoint flood study and hazard mitigation alternatives project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"editor-emphasized\">We provided the Navajo Housing Authority with a cost-effective solution to assessing flood risk, incorporating innovative technologies that sped up the project and reduced costs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applying innovative technologies, we conducted a flood study and provided alternatives for remediating flood hazards affecting a Navajo Housing Authority (NHA) subdivision in Crownpoint, New Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Operating under a limited budget and fast 90-day project schedule, our team utilized drone data technology and a complex two-dimensional engineering model to map the floodplain in unique project area topography.
