Designed by SOM, the pair of tapering buildings creates a distinct profile on the Manhattan skyline. Both are targeting LEED Gold and powered by renewable electricity sourced from hydropower dams upstate.    <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The 67-story, 2 MSF One Manhattan West rises 995 feet and is made of steel frame construction with a reinforced concrete structural core that helps anchor it atop the rail yards beneath. Its near twin, the 58-story, 1.9 MSF Two Manhattan West, rises 935 feet and is the final component in the complex, which also features a two-acre landscaped plaza flanked by ground-level retail.
