\n We\u2019re helping to deliver the YVIE complex, a landmark project that will redefine Amsterdam\u2019s skyline and be a key destination on the European conference circuit.\u202f <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

As Project Management Partner, we are helping plan and deliver YVIE, Europe\u2019s largest hotel conference centre.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Situated in the fast-growing Overhoeks district in Amsterdam Noord, the YVIE complex<\/a>, previously known as Y-Towers, contains a residential tower and a hotel tower \u2013 both connected by a four-storey low-rise building. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The residential tower is 101 metres tall and will comprise 176 long stay apartments with an additional 120 short stay apartments. The neighbouring hotel tower (110 metres) will accommodate a conference hotel with 579 rooms. With 33 floors, this will be the third tallest building in Amsterdam. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The completed YVIE complex will have restaurants, bars \u2013 including a sky bar on the top floor \u2013 a spa, conference facilities, roof gardens and a two-storey underground car park.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is our involvement on the YVIE complex? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our work spans project management, contract management, health and safety, construction management, planning, cost control, design management and quality control.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This includes managing design and scope changes and helping to negotiate and close final accounts. In addition, we\u2019re overseeing the contractor\u2019s schedule and tracking milestones against onsite progress.\u202f\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ensuring high safety standards has been critical. To achieve this, we hold weekly safety meetings with the contractor to make sure all teams follow health, safety, and environmental (HSE) best practices. \u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smart digital solutions for streamlined delivery <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are also managing the flow of design documentation and acting as a liaison between the YVIE complex design team and contractor. Besides ensuring good communication throughout the project, this is helping teams navigate project-related issues more efficiently.\u202f\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To streamline delivery, we\u2019re using HoloBuilder, a platform that allows teams to capture, organise and collaborate through 360\u00b0 photo documentation.\u202f\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to this software, we have been able to regularly track and monitor onsite progress. As the client is working remotely, this benefits them too as they can access progress updates in real time.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Europe\u2019s largest hotel conference centre<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With the structural works nearing completion and with the fa\u00e7ade well underway, the YVIE complex was topped out in June 2022 at 110 metres. The ceremony was marked by members of the project team along with representatives from the developer Union Investment and other stakeholders. In addition, the project achieved its Power-On milestone in July 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
