{"id":43504,"date":"2024-10-30T14:35:16","date_gmt":"2024-10-30T14:35:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.archtam.com\/projects\/the-richard-gilder-center-at-the-american-museum-of-natural-history\/"},"modified":"2024-10-30T12:45:35","modified_gmt":"2024-10-30T16:45:35","slug":"the-richard-gilder-center-at-the-american-museum-of-natural-history","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/www.archtam.com\/projects\/the-richard-gilder-center-at-the-american-museum-of-natural-history\/","title":{"rendered":"The Richard Gilder Center at the American Museum of Natural History"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"aecom-custom-block block-intro-text\" style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 40px\">\n    <p class=\"editor-emphasized\">\n        ArchTam Tishman served as CM for the new 230,000 SF Gilder Center for Science, Education, and Innovation, a transformative expansion that creates a dramatic new entryway to the American Museum of Natural History in Theodore Roosevelt Park, while providing numerous connections that link the entire multi-building campus.    <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Designed by Studio Gang, the dynamic new center encompasses education and exhibition spaces including an insectarium, living butterfly exhibit, a \u201cCollections Core\u201d with thousands of specimens and artifacts displayed across three levels, as well as laboratories, a restaurant, and visible storage.
