With direct access to two motorways \u2013 the A1 and A3 \u2013 the hub serves as a gateway to the country\u2019s largest consumer zone, the \u00cele-de-France.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We were appointed by&nbsp;Logicor,&nbsp;a leading owner,&nbsp;manager&nbsp;and developer of European&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;real estate,&nbsp;to design a new masterplan&nbsp;for the&nbsp;65-hectare site&nbsp;part of a wider scheme to transform the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is ArchTam\u2019s role in the&nbsp;Garonor&nbsp;development?&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Drawing on our multidisciplinary&nbsp;expertise,&nbsp;we\u2019re&nbsp;providing a holistic scope of services on this ongoing project. These span urban master planning, early-stage architectural design and branding, landscape design, and mechanical,&nbsp;electrical&nbsp;and plumbing (MEP) engineering, due diligence,&nbsp;compliance&nbsp;and site assessment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In developing the new masterplan, we have made sure to address each of the client\u2019s key&nbsp;objectives&nbsp;in the design, including:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To improve the quality and number of services dedicated to the&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;chain.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To create a more secure and user-friendly site.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To increase the capacity of warehouses, delivery&nbsp;services&nbsp;and offices.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To ease access within the park.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To upgrade the&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;park to align with the latest quality standards, as well as&nbsp;environmental, social and governance (ESG)&nbsp;targets.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The challenge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The main challenge for us on this project has been to meet the ambitious goals set out by the client, whilst keeping our services within a reasonable&nbsp;timeframe&nbsp;and budget.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To navigate this effectively, it was essential to&nbsp;establish&nbsp;an honest dialogue between the team and the client from the outset.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to our various initiatives such as engaging the client during workshops in a co-design approach,&nbsp;we\u2019ve&nbsp;managed to&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;this&nbsp;trust&nbsp;and communication&nbsp;throughout the delivery process.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creating a flagship&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;hub for the French capital&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Increasing energy efficiency, reducing carbon\u00a0emissions,\u00a0and upgrading the facilities to align with the latest quality and ESG standards are\u00a0among\u00a0Logicor\u2019s\u00a0key\u00a0objectives\u00a0for this project.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By bringing together a range of multidisciplinary experts, we&nbsp;are helping the client&nbsp;to&nbsp;achieve&nbsp;their&nbsp;goals&nbsp;\u2013 creating a modern,&nbsp;efficient&nbsp;and sustainable&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;hub that can keep pace with future demand.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Image courtesy of Logicor<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":771,"featured_media":49482,"template":"","tags":[],"city":[],"class_list":["post-49479","project","type-project","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.archtam.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project\/49479","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.archtam.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.archtam.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/project"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.archtam.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/771"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/www.archtam.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project\/49479\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":49480,"href":"https:\/\/www.archtam.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project\/49479\/revisions\/49480"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.archtam.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/49482"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.archtam.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=49479"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.archtam.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=49479"},{"taxonomy":"city","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.archtam.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/city?post=49479"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
