I read yours and Nicolas article in “See Further” and found it very interesting! I really liked the comparison of workspace utilization with hospital bed utilization or musical theatre seat utilization, the latter having higher utilization targets!
Of course at some point there will be a limit I think – if hospital bed utilization is too high, people won’t recover well; if workplace utilization is too high (and workspaces planned poorly), people won’t be able to concentrate. But it will depend on the nature of the task that people have…
It will be interesting to see if utilization targets will rise in the future.
Of course we’ll keep on feeding this unique database and see how it develops.
