Built and natural environments are separate things in today’s world. From a natural perspective, a built environment is a desert, while from a human perspective a blank wall does nothing for the imagination. Imagine a world where ingenuity with a proper respect for nature produces envrionments that are built and natural at once. Imagine a world of green cities – not just superficially green but a layer of fully functioning ecology that hosts wildlife, dramatically reduces the demand on engineered infrastructure, and lifts the human spirit.
